Member of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Anton Nemkin said: RIA NovostiThese reputable VPN services allow you to protect your connection while accessing the Internet.

According to Nemkin, data encryption helps prevent data from being compromised in the event of a leak, so it’s worth enabling it on devices.

“VPN allows you to protect your connection when accessing the Internet, especially on public Wi-Fi networks, significantly reducing the risk of data interception and man-in-the-middle attacks,” said a member of the State Duma committee.

The deputy reminded that only “white” VPN services work this way, which strictly comply with Russian legislation and do not allow users to bypass the blocking of resources banned in the country.
