MSI reveals updated Claw 8 AI+ console with larger screen and Core Ultra 13:27

MSI introduced the MSI Claw 8 AI+ portable console based on Intel Core Ultra 200V processor with Xe2 graphics accelerator at IFA in Berlin. reports Videocardz portal.

The new MSI Claw’s appearance remains almost unchanged from the first model. The main external difference is the screen, which has been upgraded from 7 inches to 8 inches with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 1920×1200 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits peak brightness, and VRR support.

The new product offers a new Intel Core Ultra 200V processor with integrated graphics based on Intel Arc Xe2 with 8 cores, which is the most productive among mobile solutions according to the manufacturer. The device also offers 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 RAM and an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD drive of unspecified volume.

Among other features, there is Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 support, the presence of two Thunderbolt 4 ports and pre-installed Windows 11 operating system.

The MSI Claw 8 AI+ will go on sale in early 2025. The cost of the device has not been announced yet.
