Gmail has a new feature that can’t be disabled 16:04

Google has announced the launch of new features for Gmail users that aim to improve the quality of emails written using artificial intelligence. The innovations are available both on the web version and on Android and iOS mobile devices, reports PhoneArena.

One of the main features is called Polish. It is designed to help the user compose emails. Polish has three additional options: Format, Elaborate and Abbreviate, which are format presets that render the text in one format or another.

You can use the new option by opening a blank draft of the letter and clicking on the “Help me write” icon. This feature is being rolled out gradually and is currently only available to some users.

Polish is currently available to Google Workspace owners with at least the Gemini Business and Enterprise add-ons, Gemini Education and Education Premium, as well as Google One AI Premium.

Google has confirmed that the Polish feature is enabled by default and cannot be disabled.

Previously Microsoft warned Restricting access to cloud services by Russian companies.
