Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics named after VK and AN Tikhonov from the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University (MIEM HSE) announced the start of enrollment in three master’s programs of the Faculty of Engineering and Mathematics.
We are talking about programs such as “Applied models of artificial intelligence (AI)”, “High-load systems and code optimization” and “Hardware and software systems of artificial intelligence”.
The training will be conducted by VK experts and teachers from the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University and is designed for candidates with basic training in IT.
At the same time, VK experts will introduce undergraduate students to the company’s current tools, case studies and technologies. Students will be given the opportunity to work on real-life problems to gain experience in designing, developing and implementing in-demand IT products. At the same time, the best students will be able to do internships and receive offers at VK.
According to Georgy Shchelkanov, director of work with universities at VK, the School of Engineering and Mathematics was founded in 2022. During this period, university students developed projects and designed useful products and technological solutions within the scope of workshops. According to him, some students joined the VK team.
“Together with MIEM NRU HSE, we decided to transfer this experience to joint master’s programs with the aim of preparing in-demand specialists in the field of artificial intelligence and high-load systems and giving children the opportunity to build careers in promising fields. VK Education,” said Shchelkanov.
It was noted that the training was conducted full-time in Moscow and lasted two years. Training programs provide budget and paid places. Documents are accepted until July 25 through the applicant’s personal account.
