It was noted that the new feature will be published on the Facebook page (the company that owns Meta is considered an extremist organization), announced by Mark Zuckerberg, the head of Meta (recognized as an extremist organization), which owns WhatsApp. Among other things, Zuckerberg posted his favorite reactions: it included emojis of a robot, french fries, a surfer, and more.
The second version of “reactions” differs from the first in that it allows you to use any emoji supported by your smartphone. Initially, users could only select reactions from six emoticons.
You can use the expanded set of emojis by long tapping on the message and clicking the “+” icon in the context menu that opens.
While the release of Reactions 2.0 has already occurred, 9To5Mac warned that it could take several days or even weeks before a new feature is released for all users.
It is not reported whether and when the reactions will be updated in the version of WhatsApp for Android.
