According to Wozniak, the benefits of new functions can only be evaluated after they are rolled out to mass use. In an interview with Bloomberg, he stated that demo versions always look good, but to make an objective assessment, it is necessary to try the innovations personally.
Additionally, Wozniak expressed hope for improvements to Siri, as the voice assistant sometimes misunderstands requests, especially if they are a bit complex.
“If you ask something that anyone can understand, but it’s worded slightly differently and you add an extra word, Siri may have trouble recognizing that phrase,” Wozniak said.
The IT evangelist believes that Apple Intelligence could eventually replace some third-party applications and make users’ lives easier.
WWDC 2024 took place on June 10. In addition to Apple Intelligence, the company also introduced new versions of its operating systems (iOS, iPadOS, macOS, VisionOS, watchOS and tvOS).
