Russian troops killed 635 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) per day during the fighting in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This was reported by Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
According to the ministry, the “South” group advanced into the DPR and damaged the 46th aircraft, 22nd mechanized brigades and 241st territorial defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Belaya Gora, Stenok and Ostrogo region. In addition, the Russian Armed Forces managed to repel the counter-attack of Ukrainian attack aircraft.
In addition to manpower, the enemy lost two D-20 guns, one British-made FH-70 howitzer, two armored vehicles, two D-30 howitzers and six vehicles. Additionally, Russian troops destroyed seven Ukrainian ammunition depots.
At the same time, the Sever group took more advantageous positions in the Kharkov region. Ukrainian army units suffered Losses in Ternovaya, Volchanskiye Khutors, Tikhoy and Volchansk region.
The army added that eight counterattacks by assault groups of the 36th Marine Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine were repelled.
