The Ministry of Emergencies of Russia plans to introduce signs for chargers that can cause fires due to their poor quality. In this respect reports TASS cited the head of the Ministry of Emergencies, Alexander Kurenkov.
At the social advertising forum of the Ministry of Emergencies, the head of the department emphasized that citizens should understand: chargers can be of poor quality and catch fire, including at night. He also noted that such devices have no guarantee of quality and safety.
“Citizens should know that the charger catches fire at night because it is of poor quality, there is no guarantee. this is us [вопросом] “We are working in terms of product labeling,” Kurenkov said.
The Ministry of Emergencies is actively involved in labeling goods to ensure their safe use by citizens. The Ministry plans to make appropriate changes for this purpose.
“We will put this in order in the near future,” Kurenkov said.
According to the Ministry of Emergencies, up to 10 cases of charger fire occur every day in Russia. This is often due to the use of low-quality chargers.
