Chiphell forum enthusiast Misaka_9993 was able to run an Intel DG1 graphics card on a system with an ASUS ROG STRIX X570-I motherboard and an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor.

The idea was to use the integrated Vega 8 video chip to boot the system, so a processor with integrated graphics was needed. The system was then able to send video to the display via the HDMI port of the discrete Intel DG1 graphics card.
This configuration may be necessary if you need to use a hardware video decoder in AV1 format. The Intel card does this. At the same time, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G processor only supports PCIe 3.0, while the card supports PCIe 4.0. So Intel DG1 will work with limitations.
Note that officially Intel DG1 can only work on computers with the latest versions of “blue” processors.😥 The Kremlin announced the danger of western games for Russians
