Roskomnadzor commented on the restriction of Steam in Russia 17:13

Roskomnadzor excluded one of the Steam community pages from the Unified Register of Prohibited Information due to the removal of illegal content. This has been reported “socialbites.ca” inside the section.

They emphasized that earlier Roskomnadzor, based on a decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, included in the Unified Register of Prohibited Information a certain Internet page of the Steam community for disseminating information about methods of producing narcotic substances. A request has been sent to the site owners to remove this content.

Roskomnadzor emphasized that the Internet page was removed from the register in connection with the fulfillment of the ministry’s requirements.

They added that the ministry did not restrict access to the specified page.
