American technology company Amazon has launched a generative artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool that can answer customer questions about products on the company’s online commerce platform. This was reported by channel CNBC.
A new feature in the Market mobile app allows you to use artificial intelligence to gather key features of a particular product from user reviews and specified features.
Although Amazon’s virtual assistant cannot have a ChatGPT chatbot-style conversation with a human, it does respond to creative prompts. For example, one may be asked to write a song, poem or fable dedicated to the characteristics of a particular product. Journalists managed to make the artificial intelligence talk about a winter jacket in the style of Master Yoda talking in the Star Wars saga.
Amazon has introduced many artificial intelligence tools on its site in recent months. Last June, the company began testing AI-generated product reviews and has also launched AI features for third-party sellers.
Formerly the world’s largest hypermarket chain, Walmart started Artificial intelligence that selects products to organize holidays and other events.
