Ukrainian video game developer studio GSC Game World has unveiled a new story trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, a first-person action movie with role-playing elements. The video was shown as part of presentations PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted is hosted by video game publication PC Gamer.
The new trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl shows snippets of cuts in the game engine, introducing the audience to key characters, including the Tramp, the famous sniper who played the previous game in the STALKER: Call of Pripyat series.
Following the presentation of the video, GSC Game World representatives confirmed that STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is planned to be released in the first quarter of 2024, without specifying a specific date.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will continue the STALKER series of games set in the post-apocalyptic exclusion zone of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. According to available information, the main character of the new episode will be a lonely stalker nicknamed Skif, and the action will unfold many years after the end of the events in STALKER: Call of Pripyat.
