Studio Mundfish published Video teaser for Atomic Heart’s second story expansion, releasing this winter.
The short video shows off the alternate reality called Limbo, which takes place in the main story, and new game mechanics such as jumping and avoiding obstacles in the style of Subway Surfers. According to the authors of the game, players will experience unusual gameplay and unique weapons.
All that is known so far about the new addition is that it will be dedicated to the hero’s journey into Limbo. The name of the second DLC has not been announced yet. Additionally, the add-on will continue the story after the main plot of the game.
The developers also announced that the story addition will be released in the winter, but exact release dates have not been announced yet.
Atomic Heart is a single-player, first-person action game set in an alternate history of the USSR in the 1950s. The game was released in February 2023 and received positive reviews from critics and players. The authors of the project are the Russian-Cypriot studio Mundfish, founded in 2017.
