Realme is preparing a smartphone with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, which will cost only 200 yuan (about 25.2 thousand rubles). The portal reports this GSMArena referring to an insider.
According to the source, this will be the first smartphone in this price segment to offer flagship hardware and aluminum frames.
Realme GT Neo6 is said to have an OLED display with narrow bezels and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will also get a main camera with 50 megapixel resolution and optical stabilization (OIS). However, it is reported that there is also 100W wired charging support.
The presentation of Realme GT Neo6 is expected in early 2024. Its predecessor, Realme GT Neo5, known as Realme GT3 in the global market, was launched in February 2023. The smartphone offered record charging power of 240 W, the flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip and maximum configuration with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB internal storage.
Realme is also planning to unveil its flagship GT6 soon, which will get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, periscope camera and high-speed USB 3.2.
