The Apple Car electric car project has “lost all visibility” within the Apple structure and has reached a dead end. In this respect reports The GizmoChina post cites data from well-known insider and TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
Kuo believes that if Apple does not focus on an acquisition strategy, it will lose its chance to enter the electric vehicle market. According to him, it is unlikely that Apple Car will go into production in the next few years without the support of any car brand’s capacity.
GizmoChina writes that Ming-Chi Kuo’s prediction is not so unexpected. Apple hasn’t publicly released information about the Apple Car for several years. At the same time, the change of several people in the department head indicates problems with the project. Constant rotation of personnel in management led to failures in product development. In particular, information has emerged that Apple developers encountered technical problems while developing the autopilot system.
GizmoChina doesn’t think Apple will give up on developing electric cars. Journalists suggest that most of the difficulties in the project arise from the fact that the American IT company wants to create not just an electric car, but the best electric car.
It was known before plans Apple will acquire a major Microsoft asset.
