Billionaire Elon Musk’s company Tesla released a video showing the new abilities of its humanoid robot Optimus. Clip seen on the tech company’s official X (Twitter) account.
First of all, the video aims to show that Optimus has received an advanced computer vision system that allows him to sort objects by color and shape. According to Tesla, the artificial intelligence built into Android works autonomously without cloud computing.
At the end of the short video, the robot stands on one leg and crosses its arms in front of its chest, imitating a yoga pose.
“Join us to help Optimus grow (and improve his yoga skills),” the text of the post on the Tesla account reads.
The Optimus robot was introduced in summer 2021. Tesla plans to turn androids into personal assistants in the long term. Even the approximate release date and cost of the new product have not been announced.
Former insiders I learnedTesla plans to buy Optimus robots to help sell electric vehicles.
