On the basis of the Main Radio Frequency Center, the agency organized a Scientific and Technical Council (STC), where experts discussed ensuring information security of Russian systems and resources.
Development will be carried out on the basis of the Public Network Monitoring and Control Center.
It is assumed that this year a new system for detecting security vulnerabilities of Russian Internet resources will be developed. With its appearance, it will be possible to intervene in dangerous situations as quickly as possible and quickly eliminate the security vulnerabilities found.
In addition, RKN pointed out that information security vulnerabilities can often occur in Russian information systems. We are talking about database systems, mail servers, from which flaws are not excluded from the point of view of security.
As a result, using Internet services with vulnerabilities leads to system compromise and personal data leaks.
In addition, it is planned to take measures to limit the scanning of the Russian segment of the network by foreign services.
