Google announced that the smart watch Pixel Watch has the ability to detect the fall of the gadget owner. According to this interactionThe device uses motion sensors and algorithms for these purposes.
Like the Apple Watch feature of the same name introduced in 2018, Google’s gadget will show the user on-screen that it has recorded a fall and offer to call emergency services for help.
However, Google claims that Pixel Watch won’t accidentally call emergency services if you fall while doing winter sports.
“If Pixel Watch detects a potential drop and there is no movement for about 30 seconds, it will vibrate, sound an alarm, and a message will appear on the screen asking you to choose if you need help or if everything is OK,” the article says.
If the user does not respond to the warning, the sound will continue for approximately one minute and will get louder in the last seconds. Only then will the Pixel Watch call emergency services.
Previous Pixel Watch users began to diagnose arrhythmia due to the presence of an ECG sensor in the device that monitors cardiac activity.
