Valve has released an update for CS: GO where the Dust2 map from the official esports map pool has been replaced with Anubis. About informs DTF Portal.
It is stated that players will retain the ability to run sessions in Dust2, but only in regular playlists, including ratings.
However, the update brought gameplay changes. For example, the ammo count of the AWP Sniper Rifle has been reduced from 10 to 5, while the M4A1-S Suppressed Assault Rifle now deals less damage at long range – its modifier reduced from 0.99 to 0.94.
The Dust2 map is considered one of the most iconic maps in Valve’s shooter series. The game map first appeared in 2001 in the first Counter-Strike.
