Apple CEO Tim Cook wrote a letter to an Indian person who was saved from falling in nature thanks to a smart watch from an American company. It has been reported india times.
17-year-old Smith Meta told the publication that he fell from a height of about 40 meters. The fall resulted in Meta breaking both ankles. The teenager realized that he had left his smartphone in a friend’s backpack and was able to communicate with his family using his Apple Watch smartwatch.
“I had to go through a long rehabilitation process because I could not bear the weight of my legs and was chained to a wheelchair for a while,” the young man said.
He then decided to write a thank you note to Tim Cook. To the surprise of the Indian, he received an answer. “I am so glad you are on the way to recovery. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us. I wish you a full and speedy recovery. All the best Tim,” Cook wrote.
