The Ukrainian Football Federation clarified that the Joma brand was not involved in the design or unveiling of the new Zenith jersey. In a formal statement, the federation explained that Joma had no role in creating or presenting the latest uniform for the Russian club. It also noted that Joma’s headquarters in Spain has halted all sponsorship activities with sports teams from Russia and Belarus.

Earlier, the UAF publicly objected to Joma for using the company logo on Zenith’s kit. Following this dispute, Karpaty, another Ukrainian club, switched its technical partner away from Joma and partnered with Nike. The publication Championship reported that Zenith had not entered into a contract with Joma, and that the Wildberry club’s technical partner provided a new jersey for the blue-white-blue colors.

At the domestic level, Zenit sits atop the Russian Premier League standings with 45 points after 18 rounds, underscoring the ongoing competitive narrative surrounding the club this season.

Additionally, Kryvbas offered public remarks describing the current status of the Joma brand and its involvement in Ukrainian football sponsorships.
