TM Benidorm Handball Club announced the signing of the young far right Lautaro Robledo, a move that secures his services until 2025 and sets him on a path to join from the next season Brazilian club Pinheiros.
The club also welcomes a promising young left-handed player, 21, noted for his speed and shooting accuracy which make him a potent force on the attack. He brings a high level of energy to defense too, thanks to his anticipation and ability to read the game. Robledo will occupy the rightmost position, lining up for what promises to be an exciting 2023-2024 campaign for Benidorm.
The new TM Benidorm recruit has already tested senior competition with Argentina, appearing in the last South American Games in Asuncion, Paraguay, in 2022. He also took part in the Junior Pan American Games in Cali, Colombia, and the most recent Pan American Games held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. These experiences underline his exposure to international play and his prior participation in both Argentine and Brazilian leagues. Now, he faces the challenge of adapting to the competitive Spanish Plenitude Asobal League.
