The Alicante native, almost 34, will bring his extensive experience to Jorge Martínez Aspar’s squad. Until now, Terol served as a sports consultant within the team’s youth education department, guiding the development of young riders. Alcoyano will succeed Gino Borsoi in the position, a seasoned sports manager who has participated in the Motorcycle World Championship with his new objective at Pramac.

The association between Nico Terol and Jorge Martínez Aspar stretches back to the dawn of his racing career. Terol first appeared in the world stage in 1999, riding a minibike in what was then known as Formula Airtel, now recognized as a cradle for champions. The project aimed to train young talents to reach the world level.

The 125cc champion eventually advanced to the world championship with a notable move in 2004, during the Valencia Community Grand Prix, marking a curious moment in which Borsoi’s team hosted Terol as he took his first steps on the global stage.

Over nearly six seasons at the helm, the team collected three Moto3 Junior World Championship titles, as well as European Talent Cup and Red Bull Rookies Cup successes, alongside two Spanish championships. This track record underscores his value as a leader who blends practical racing insight with a talent for nurturing new generations of competitors.
