In May and June, the phase will determine which five of the ten teams rising from the bronze tier secure promotion. The end of the regular Second RFEF season brings two routes to the higher level: direct promotion for the group winners and a playoff path that decides the remaining five clubs moving up. The direct promotion spots go to the top team in each group, namely He Arenteiro, Sestao River, Teruel, Antequera, and Melilla. The playoffs will reveal the other five clubs that switch categories and will take place during May and June. It remains to be seen whether a streaming platform will broadcast these games.
Where to watch the 2023 Second Division promotion playoff matches live online: channels, streaming, TV
The Second RFEF this season has been broadcast in a decentralized manner, with some matches airing on platforms that also carry First RFEF games, such as On Sports TV. In practice, viewers can watch matches on the official channels of each participating club, since the clubs themselves hold the television rights. Those rights can, in turn, be negotiated with regional broadcasters to expand access.
