Kylian Mbappe, the star forward for the French national team and Paris Saint-Germain, released a video message for Belarusian broadcaster Mellstroy, whose real name is Andrey Burim.

In the clip, Mbappe says, “Hello Mellstroy! Kilian here. I just wanted to say hello and I hope you are well. I look forward to seeing you soon,” as the message published by Mellstroy shows.

Earlier, Mellstroy had launched a social media contest offering 30 million rubles to anyone who could obtain a message from Mbappe, Messi, Ronaldo, or a representative from the Netherlands. The prize would go to the person who persuaded the footballer to respond. Mellstroy also promised another 30 million rubles to the person who appeared on the field in the Champions League final wearing a T-shirt bearing his name.

Mbappe, who appeared in 21 Ligue 1 matches this season, managed to tally 21 goals, with six coming from penalties, plus four assists.

Media reports indicated that in early 2024, the striker decided to pursue a move to Real Madrid in the summer, pending the terms of his contract with his French club. Mbappe’s deal with PSG was reported to run through June 30, 2024.

A former PSG coach reportedly advised avoiding conflict with Mbappe and cautioned against provocative actions toward him.
