The centennial celebration of Hercules is marked by a commemorative wine produced for the blue and white club’s 100th anniversary in October 2022.

The Sierra Salinas winery, renowned for its award winning MO and other references, crafted the wine titled Armonia Herculana. This monovarietal offering is showcased at Plaza Mar 2 shopping center in the capital and is derived from the indigenous Monastrell red grape. It is available in Alcampo supermarkets, priced at 9.95 euros.

Key attendees at the event included Angel Cervantes, the hyper director, Eva Minano Gomez, marketing manager of the family owned Bodegas Sierra de Salinas, and Manuel Palomar, the Centennial Commission chairman and former chancellor of UA. Their presence underscored the significance of the milestone for the club and its supporters.

Herculana Harmony is described as a wine that embodies the Alicante region. Cervantes remarked that it represents a passion for the local product showcased in the city, a sentiment echoed by others involved in the project. The winery manager spoke of the honor of bottling a century of Hércules, highlighting the Monastrell grape as bold and enduring, with vines that thrive under the sun and through drought conditions.

Palomar emphasized the decision to commemorate the hundred year history of Hercules with a wine as a celebration of local heritage. The effort is framed as a tribute to the land and its people, a story of regional identity bottled for both present and future fans of the club. Each label features the club shield and colors, along with a succinct motto that captures the inspiration behind this first shipment.
