This Costa Blanca and C. Valenciana Golf Courses Association (ACGBCCV) announces the final three rounds of the Circuit Interclubs Pairs Trophy for the second edition. The closing tests will take place in September: Saturday the 3rd at Oliva Nova, Sunday the 11th at Altea Golf, and Saturday the 17th at Las Ramblas.

The competition uses a scoring system outlined in the regulations, with a final test that awards nearly twice as many points. Sixty couples are eligible in category 1 and forty couples in category 2, keeping the circuit open for a dramatic finish. Interim leaders in category 1 and category 2 entered the last phase with 55 and 44 points respectively, and the final three tests can yield up to 55 points for a winner (composed of 15 + 15 + 25). A pair with at least 2 points in the final standings can still climb to first place in either category and claim one of several prize options, including a 4-year subscription to 16 courses worth €30,000 each.

In the final event at Las Ramblas, the points allocation changes to 25, 18, 12, 7 and 4 for finisher positions, making the final test a high-stakes sprint. Any pair can post a large score, adding excitement until the last moment and keeping open the chance to win one of the circuit prizes. Four locations will distribute additional subscriptions to the top pairs in each category:

  • Second place in both categories: 4 semester subscriptions across 16 circuit venues.

  • Third place in both categories: 4 quarterly subscriptions across 16 circuit venues.

  • Fourth place in both categories: 4-month subscriptions across 16 circuit venues.

Besides these significant prizes for the top four pairs in each category, a grand Caribbean trip is offered to all pairs who contested at least eight tests, thanks to the Transvia Sports sponsorship. Therefore, any team that has completed five tests, whether ranked or not, still has a chance to win this extraordinary trip.

The leading teams in Category 1 after thirteen challenging tests are being tracked, with attention on the top performers who could seal the final standings.

The circuit enjoys broad support and collaboration from CV Golf Federation and several tourism and regional bodies that provide welcome packages and special rewards for the tests. Turisme Comunitat Valenciana, Costa Blanca Tourist Board, València Turisme, Castellón Tourist Board, Visit Valencia, and Visit Benidorm are among those backing the event. The tour is also sponsored by Walls Group, agents for Volvo and Jeep, with nodus Cellars offering a curated selection of organic wines, and Allannia Resorts providing accommodation coupons.
