Catholic University Preseason: New Template and Early Contests

The refinery heads to Concepción as the UC aims to begin 2023 with positive momentum.

The Catholic University opens 2023 by showing its supporters what was developed in the first half of the pre-season. The training camp took place in San Carlos, where the team set its new template under Ariel Holan after private scrimmages against Chile Sub 23 and Magallanes helped shape the squad.

The rival for early testing is Bolivia’s Oriente Petrolero, a club also preparing for Copa Sudamericana 2023. Matching up against them provides a meaningful continental benchmark for the Crusaders.
