The Atlas Board of Directors has overseen the construction of the new AGA Academy, which will become the home base for the Rojinegros.
The formation of a dedicated base for Atlas FC, known for its red and black colors, is nearing completion as the club pushes toward a grand opening. The leadership of the two-time champion squad is driving a demanding construction pace for the Aga Academy, a facility that will host the entire organization.
The Atlas project is being built near the Venta del Astillero in Guadalajara, covering seven acres of grounds.
Jose Riestra commented on the initiative:
“We aim to be more competitive in every facet; with Orlegi Sports’ management approach—centered on infrastructure, structure, and processes—we are getting closer.”

WHAT WILL THE ATLAS AGA ACADEMY INCLUDE?
The Aga Academy will serve as the home for Atlas FC’s first men’s and women’s teams, alongside the club’s developmental squads and staff belonging to Orlegi Sports.

It also houses facilities for Technical Sports Sciences, a clubhouse for both men and women’s development teams, an auditorium with a capacity for one hundred people, administrative and athletic offices, an industrial dining hall, a canteen, a gym, and its own water treatment plant.
WHEN WILL IT OPEN?
The inauguration of the academy is planned for the summer of 2023, though the project could open before all construction work is fully completed.
