According to new data, every fifth resident of Russia in certain situations prefers interaction with algorithms, and not with people. However, the most important role of AI remains utilitarian aid in solving routine problems and not replacing human communication.
From a study that has covered more than three thousand out of ten large cities: 79% of the respondents use AI services daily. Technologies are usually used to search for information (57%), the editing of texts (27%) and training (20%). At the same time, 68% of the survey participants relate to the algorithms for the organization of leisure time – from the selection of films to travel planning.
Almost half of the respondents (44%) regularly process photos with the help of neural networks, and notes that digital correction increases their self -confidence as photos. More than 57% admitted that they create or amended content in social networks.

Despite the growing involvement in creative processes, emotional interaction with algorithms remains a rare event. Only 19.6% of respondents sometimes find communication with AI more comfortable than in humans. 12.2% tried to consult AI psychologists, but mainly episodic.
Experts associate an increase in interest in AI with the expansion of the functionality of gadgets. In the past year, the sale of smartphones with neural networks has increased by 81%. At the same time, it emphasizes: technologies are seen as a tool and not as an alternative to human interaction. The trend shows that Russians appreciate speed and efficiency in AI, but retain a request for empathy that the privilege of real communication remains.
