Krasnodar won its first victory in the new RPL season thanks to Spertsyan’s duo.

“Krasnodar” on the road today faced Yekaterinburg “Ural” in the third round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) and won 3:1.

In the 28th minute, the visiting team opened the goal. Armenian striker Eduard Spertsyan closed the corner kick by defender Sergei Borodin. A few minutes ago, the ball hit the goalkeeper’s hand, but it was already in his own penalty area. The referee of the meeting, Vladimir Moskalev, did not decide on the appointment of a penalty.

“Ural” had several opportunities to score, but the excellent game of the Russian national team goalkeeper Matvey Safonov saved the “bulls” from a missed goal. In the second half, with the participation of Borodin, the referee gave a penalty for the moment, but the guest defense itself suffered. The penalty kick was turned by Eduard Spertsyan. A few minutes later, the Ural goalkeeper Ilya Pomazun knocked Alexei Ionov down in his own penalty area. The second penalty in this match was again turned by Spertsyan. The only goal for the home team came from Alexei Kashtanov in the last minute of the match.

After three matches, the guards of Oleksandr Storozhuk scored four points and captured the group of teams led by Dynamo Moscow. “Ural” still did not score a single point.

Former student of “Krasnodar” Ilya Zhigulev the owner of the club spoke about the incredible act of Sergei Galitsky.
