Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova’s report published Telegram channelA video clip dedicated to her wedding with figure skater Makar Ignatov.
“Our love story,” Trusova wrote under the video.
The music video was made for Mary Gu and MOT’s “It Won’t Be Cold”.
Trusova won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing, losing to compatriot Shcherbakova. Japan’s Kaori Sakamoto finished in the top three. Before the award ceremony, Trusova refused to go to the ceremony and emotionally stated that she would not go on the ice again. On August 16, Evgeni Plushenko, who works under Trusova’s leadership, said that there was no talk of the figure skater returning to the sport and that she would only perform in the trial skating.
Ignatov is a silver medalist of the Russian Championship (2021), a bronze medalist of the Rostelecom Cup Grand Prix stage (2019), a two-time winner of the Russian Cup Final (2020, 2022). He became the first Russian figure skater to perform four jumps in four rotations in the same program.
