In the final of the ATP-250 tournament held in Hong Kong, Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev defeated Finnish representative Emil Ruusuvuori with scores of 6:4 and 6:4.
The duration of the meeting lasted 1 hour and 17 minutes. Rublev served five times, did not commit a single double fault and converted two of the seven break points won.
In December, Rublev lost to Bulgaria’s Grigor Dmitrov in the final of the World Tennis League in the UAE, in October to Hubert Hurkacz from Poland in the final of the tournament in Shanghai, and in July in the final of the tournament in BÃ¥stad. In June – to Norwegian Casper Ruud – to Alexander Bublik from Kazakhstan in the final of the tournament in Halle, in April – to Serbian Dusan Lajovic in the final of the tournament in Banja Luka.
In the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP) rankings, Rublev is in fifth place (4805 points). Serbian Novak Djokovic continues to lead with 11,245 points. Spanish Carlos Alcaraz ranks second with 8855 points. Daniil Medvedev (7600 points) is in the top three.
