Russian swimmer Andrei Minakov talked about the differences in mentality of people in the USA and Russia. His words guide the way “Championship.com”.

“This is manifested primarily in the attitude towards people and communication. The hypocrisy of everyone there is extraordinary. People are more lively in Russia. They can clearly say what they really think. They are more sincere. This is very difficult in America. There, people can talk about how important something is to them, how worried they are, but in reality they don’t care at all,” Minakov said.

Minakov specializes in butterfly and freestyle swimming. He was a three-time medalist at the 2019 World Championships with two silver and one bronze medal. Minakov won the gold medal in the relay race at the 2021 European Championships held in Budapest, took second place in the mixed relay race and won the bronze medal in the freestyle. The swimmer is the holder of the current Russian record (50.83) in swimming 100 meters butterfly III. He is a six-time winner and silver medalist at the Summer Youth Olympic Games.
