The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation filed a disciplinary case against 20-year-old Ukrainian gymnast Vlada Nikolchenko due to her statements. The press service of the organization reports this.

In November, Nikolchenko held master classes for children in Poland. The girl performed at the international tournament “Warsaw Autumn” and then spoke harshly about the country and its inhabitants.

“They broke my spirit in the morning. I hate this country with all my heart, and most of all, I hate the people who live here. “I’m here because the airport was closed in my homeland, Ukraine,” the athlete wrote.

In addition to the bronze medal at the European Championships, Nikolchenko also won a bronze medal at the world championships.

Russian athletes have not competed on the international stage since the end of February 2022, after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) recommended that sports federations refuse to invite domestic athletes. The last major tournament for the Russians was the Olympic Games in Beijing, where the team won 32 awards.
