The youth competition continues its rise with the top 16 teams facing each other in the first round of direct elimination.
The Malaysia 2023 U-17 World Cup will go ahead. After an exciting group phase, with great matches, some surprises and an average of 3.5 goals per match, the 16 classified for the eighth finals were determined, who will be looking for the title.
As usual, the knockout phase of the competition will be played in one match. In the event of a tie in regular time, there will be two additional periods of 15 minutes each and if the tie remains, the matches will be decided by penalty kicks.
