Krasnodar and Paraguay national team defender Junior Alonso announced the details of his return to the team after his contract was suspended. His words are quoted “Championship”.
“Everyone knows the problem that arose at that time. The club was positive about my decision. After a while, the club called me and told me that the team was in a difficult situation and that I should come back. As a result, I am playing in Krasnodar again. We are currently leading the RPL,” Alonso said.
Alonso suspended his contract with Krasnodar in March 2022 and started playing for Atlético Mineiro again. He returned to the Russian club in December of the same year.
The Paraguayan signed a contract with Krasnodar in January 2022. The contract with the club runs until June 2025. Alonso played in 15 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) this season and scored one goal.
Having collected 32 points after 15 rounds in the RPL, Krasnodar continues to maintain its leadership in the championship. In the last round, Vladimir Ivich’s team drew with Zenit with a score of 1:1. Eduard Spertsyan and Mateo Cassierra scored. The blue-white-blue team is in second place and is two points short.
