The Mexican team come back to World Under 17 Championshipa tournament that they already won twice in 2005 and 2011. Mexico arrives at Indonesia 2023 as current runners-up, after falling to Brazil in the final of the last edition.

The team led by Raúl Chambrand wants to show that the Tricolor is a force in this category and the first step they have to take is to secure a place in the round of 16.
