In his professional MMA career, Vartanyan from Yerevan played 29 fights in which he won 25 wins and lost four. On June 16, he defeated Reznikov by technical knockout at the ACA-159 tournament. Vartanian is the first interim champion in ACA history. He won the Combat Sambo World Cup in 2014. He is a member of the Lionheart team.
