Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah talked about his team’s failure to qualify for the Champions League on his Twitter page.
“I’m devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for that. We had everything we needed to go to the Champions League but we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying for the Champions League is minimal. Sorry but it’s too early to post uplifting or optimistic “We disappointed you and ourselves,” Salah wrote.
