Most titled Russian tennis player, Olympic champion – 2000, former world’s first racket Yevgeny Kafelnikov shared his expectations from the fourth round match between Russian Andrey Rublev and Italian Yannick Sinner in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament. Kafelnikov believes that this game will be difficult for Rublev, but expects a successful performance from him.
“We always look forward to the valuable performances of our tennis players. And today’s match will be no exception. Of course, the game is not easy, the opponent is difficult – but let’s hope Andrey will show himself from the best side, ” Kafelnikov told socialbites.ca.
The match between Sinner and Rublev will be played on Tuesday, March 28 and kicks off at 18:00 Moscow time. Prior to that, in the tournament, Andrei eliminated Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic with 6:1, 6:2 scores without any problems. Before that, the Russian barely met the American Jeffrey-John Wolfe, but won in two sets – 7:6 (7:3), 6:4.
