Russian women won three medals at the World Boxing Championships 18:28

Today, the Russian women’s team has won three awards at the World Championships held these days in New Delhi (India).

Diana Pyatak won the bronze medal in the weight category up to 81 kg. He could not reach the final of the tournament due to losing to Moroccan representative Khadija Mardi.

Russian Natalia Sychugova lost to the Chinese representative Yang Chenju by a separate decision in the finals of up to 63 kg.

The Women’s World Championship will be held in New Delhi from March 15-31. The men’s tournament will be held from May 1-14 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

324 athletes from 65 countries of the world participate in the women’s tournament.

At the end of February 2022, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) issued a call to international sports federations and recommended that Russian and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions.
