In the remake Resident Evil 4 has no shortage of treasures to be found in each of its three main regions. Some are hidden behind puzzles, while others require small keys. If you come across a locked chest of drawers, it means that you must find the key first, and then the treasure.
Whether you want to complete Resident Evil 4’s merchant treasure maps or just earn some cash, below are all the locations where Small Keys can be found scattered throughout the game. If you are wondering what is hidden in each locked box, you can find this information in the last section.

For every locked chest you find in Resident Evil 4 Remake, there’s a little key hidden somewhere in the same region. You can open them in any order. Any key can open any box.
The only thing to note is that once you’ve passed the point of no return in a region, you won’t be able to go back and claim missed treasures unless you’ve manually saved beforehand. If you start a new game and save it after finishing the game last time, you will have to collect all the treasures again.

A total of eight Small Keys can be collected in Resident Evil 4 Remake, covering the first two regions. There are no locked boxes on the island, so make sure you grab everything you need before you leave the village and castle.
The description indicates the number of the chapter where you first encounter the item, but you can grab it at any time until you reach the point of no return. In the village, this happens when you go to the extraction point with Ashley. In the castle, this happens when you enter the bell tower.
