Former Rostov coach Sergei Balakhnin shared his views on the victory of CSKA Moscow in the match against Samara Krylia Sovetov in the Russian Premier League (RPL).
“CSKA was well prepared, motivated after an unsuccessful match with Sochi. The army team developed tactics well, took into account the weather conditions and the condition of the field. CSKA chose tactics with a great striker. These could explain today’s success,” Balakhnin told socialbites.ca.
The match ended with a score of 4:0.
After 19 rounds of the RPL, CSKA gains 32 points and is compared to Dynamo occupying the fourth place in the standings.
It is worth noting that in the near future CSKA and Krylya Sovetov will play two more matches against each other. The teams will meet as part of the 1/2 Russian Cup. The first match will be played on March 15 in Samara, and the second leg will be played on April 6 in Moscow.
