From Bulykin on Spartak’s great victory over Krasnodar: It’s more of a show 17:27

Former Russian national team player Dmitry Bulykin, in a comment to socialbites.ca, spoke about the victory of Moscow Spartak over Krasnodar in the framework of the Russian Premier League (RPL) Winter Cup.

The match, held at Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi (UAE), ended with the score of 4:0.

“These are more demonstrations, informal games. It is not possible to draw any conclusions from these matches as to what will happen in the championship,” said Bulykin.

The goals were scored by Pavel Meleshin, Anton Zinkovsky, Shamar Nicholson and Balde Keita.

Having collected 36 points at the end of 17 weeks in the Russian Championship, the red-whites are in the second place in the classification. The Bulls are eighth with 25 points.

He noted that Muscovites added from game to game, but also agreed with former Spartak captain Yegor Titov, who described the team’s previous match with Rostov as “a pathetic sight”.
