Japanese Sony company is closing its office in Turkey. He said this in an interview game industry company representative.
“Sony has modernized its consumer TV and audio business in Turkey due to the challenging economic environment that is increasingly affecting profitability in this category,” a spokesperson said.
According to him, Turkey continues to be an important market for Sony. “We will continue to develop the remaining areas of our activities in the region,” the representative said.
The company assured that the PS Store service, which has become popular among Russian players due to the decrease in game prices, will continue in Turkey. Initially, the decision to close the office was seen as a threat to the functioning of PlayStation Store in the country.
Previously, Kazakh authorities purchase ban PlayStation 5 for budget money.
