“Today has been one of the hardest days of my entire career. It happened again at the World Cup. Yes I was injured but I am confident that I will have the opportunity to play in this tournament and I think I can help my teammates and myself,” wrote Neymar.

The 30-year-old striker injured the ligaments in his right ankle during the match against Serbia in the 1st week of the group stage of the tournament. The South American team won 2-0. Both goals were scored by striker Richarlison.
In the next round, Brazil will play the Swiss team on November 28. The Brazilians will face Cameroon in the final round. The game will be played on December 2.
The World Championship started on November 20 and will run until December 18, 2022. The tournament takes place in eight stadiums in five cities. The final match will be played at the National Stadium.
