Android Authority Portal Conducted a survey took place among its readers and learned which smartphone manufacturers they would like to see in their markets.
That’s why around 41% of respondents voted to have Pixel series smartphones appear in their region of Google stores, where they can buy it. Officially, these devices can only be purchased in the US, UK, Japan and some other countries.
In second place was the Sony brand, with 17% of respondents voting. It was noted that a few years ago the Japanese company was widely represented around the world, but in the future the strategy of Sony’s mobile division was revised.
The top three were closed by the Chinese company Xiaomi, taking 11% of the vote. Despite its strong worldwide presence, the company is not present in North America.
“I’m so tired of Apple and Samsung being the dominant players in the US. It is true that Google, Sony, Nokia, OnePlus and Motorola have carved out a niche in the market. But we need stronger players like Xiaomi, Honor, Huawei, Oppo and Realme. They offer affordable phones with great features,” said one of the survey respondents.
The rest of the survey respondents voted for Nothing, Asus, Realme, and other companies to appear in their region.
