Dutch Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen (Red Bull) claim their fourteenth victory of the season a calm victory with the Spaniards, winning the Mexican Grand Prix this Sunday, with a better strategy than Mercedes and without opposition from Ferrari carlos sainz fifth and abandonment Fernando Alonso (Alp).

Verstappen, world champion three weeks ago at Suzuka, still wanted more and won again, as he did last year at Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez, and made history at the World Championship. One of Red Bull sets record for one season winLewis Hamilton, runner-up and local idol Sergio Pérez, third and world runner-up is now closer.

The race finally stopped, Mercedes came back on the hard tyre, and the rest of the top came back with the middle. Silver Arrows eventually hoped that the others would suffer, but it didn’t. Verstappen calmly won and Pérez (Red Bull) beat George Russell.

Meanwhile, after two withdrawals –Japan and the USA–, Sainz was in nobody’s country, ahead of teammate Charles Leclerc, but didn’t have a chance to fight for victory until he finished fifth. Things were even worse for Alonso, once again the first of the mortals, until he broke the engine and six laps from the last retiredafter a few more losses.

The Mexican date was a strategy game with stops and tires, with few minimal differences between the contenders for victory. Ferrari hasn’t been on their sidelines since a regular start that put them behind Red Bull and Mercedes. Verstappen kept his head in front of Hamilton but it couldn’t open a gap even though it has softer rubber.
