In the latest IBRiS poll reported by Rzeczpospolita, the Civic Coalition remains in the lead, ahead of PiS, while Jarosław Kaczyński’s party still holds strong support at about thirty percent.
KO holds a slim edge
The March IBRiS Sejm support survey for Rzeczpospolita covered March 22 to 23, using the CATI method with a sample of 1,067 adults. The Civic Coalition was recorded at 31.9 percent, a slight dip from 32.6 percent a month earlier, marking a decline of 0.7 percentage points.
The report notes that PiS maintained its level of support at around thirty percent, almost unchanged from February’s 30.1 percent.
Support seems to stabilize; Third Way loses ground
The discussion highlighted that KO surpassed PiS in recent polling, a shift influenced by the outcomes of recent parliamentary elections. The new data suggest a stabilizing trend in voter sentiment overall.
Turnout was estimated at 56.7 percent, down from 62.3 percent the previous month, with about 9.3 percent of respondents still undecided.
The report also noted that the Third Way declined, dropping from nearly 15 percent a month earlier to about 10.7 percent now. The Left and the Confederation gained support in this period, while undecided voters increased.
In the Left Wing poll, the Left, represented by PAP, stood at 9.5 percent, up 0.8 percentage points from February. The Confederation rose to 8.6 percent, up from 7.6 percent in February. These shifts occur as the electorate prepares for the first round of local government elections scheduled for April 7.
Additional questions tracked by the survey showed KO maintaining its edge over PiS since the start of the year, with the Third Way experiencing noticeable gains in some sectors while the Left and the Confederation showed steady increases in other parts of the spectrum. A vein of undecided voters continues to influence the early campaigning landscape.
